let me give you people a quote:
worrying is like sitting on a rocking chair;
it gives you something to do,
but gets you no where.
COOL RIGHT!

time is stripping me of everything! even blogging is done kinda like on a fortnight basis. i never have time to slack around to watch animes and shows like how i've always done. bahhhh.
my gaming career is a big confusion now. we seem to be sliding our way down a very, very steep slope. trainings are so few and far between i don't even know what's wrong with us now. hopefully all of us woke up from that bad mistake yesterday. eswc is just 2 weeks away, that's all the time we have left. hopefully.
i heard teachers randomly read student's blogs. so if i don't do any of your homework for the next 2 weeks i'm very very sorry because i'm probably training hard for eswc okay? bahhhhhhhh but school sucks anyway. if you're thinking why i always say school sucks, but i'm always studying even though i'm not a fan of school, my answer is that i really dunno. but somehow i always complete my homework and study for my tests. i think i'm a nerd. okay, i must be a nerd.
i saw these 2 secondary school kids buying sweets at a mama shop. i'm the kind of person who can't help overhearing conversations, so yeah.. even though its really short, here is what i heard.
A: you got gang anot?
B: not yet la, you?
A: no la.
hmmm.. by "not yet la" does he actually mean that he's going to join one? maybe its only because i've been too sheltered my whole life, being surrounded with all these goodie-two-shoes who don't even dare to walk towards the danger zone let alone cross it, that i feel unconfortable hearing something like this. but my point is, these people, what are they even thinking? that it is oh-so-cool to be in a gang? maybe they're just too young to know what's really right and what's not. but come to think of it, 14 isn't all that young. then again, there are many other factors to consider too, like his upbringing, social circle, blah blah blah blah.
feeling bored? watch this! hoooooooooh! hahahahaha.
type "hard gay" in the search bar for more videos, cheers!
happy mother's day, and a happy 3 months baby.

it's been horrendously busy with baby, school, and training all at the same time. ending trainings on weekdays at 12 is killing me. i don't get to do my homework, and i don't get enough sleep. but i hope all this training will be worthwhile. and i can't wait for everything to end.. the A's especially.
i received an email saying that i've won the lottery with a grand prize of a few million bucks. haha! out of nowhere, i get a letter saying that i've been specially and oh-so-luckily picked out of a gazillion people to inherit this jackpot. but in order to receive the money, i'm supposed to reply with my personal information. like wow that's so convincing! i mean okay if you're expecting the audience to consist of only 2-month-old kids and 104-year-old-oldies-who-can-barely-even-read, i don't see how anyone will fall for it. lol but its nice try though.
politics politics politics. i've never been a big fan of the politics, elections and everything. but it seems that this huge wave of the elections and the PAP has gotten even to me. everywhere i hear people talking about the PAP, and the papers have a few pages on the PAP every single day. they are just so over-dominating. every damn singaporean is probably gonna vote for the PAP any-o-how even without consideration. if i were to vote now, i would too, even though i don't know a single shit about what they've done to help us singaporeans. worse, i bet more than half of singapore is like me haha! probably coz they're the best government party(or only substantial one actually). its not even a contest if they get walkovers in like half the areas in singapore. talk about an election.
"so.. how's life?" is probably the most difficult question to answer. especially if the person who asked is merely an acquaintance, and not much of a close friend. i guess that's why i always end up with a forced "okay lor" or "boring la, coz school sucks". its not even a proper answer hahah but what are you expecting? its one of the dumbest questions to ask to break the silence, but i'd rather not be asked and just look out the window acting like i'm not feeling any sence of awkwardness. i'm guilty of asking the same question sometimes, but oh well, you get my point.
Colin & Kero
if you're feeling bored and looking for some hot juicy gossip, but ran out of blogs to click through, do take a look if you haven't. its nice they're both so loving and all, but they make it so public i'd like to think that they're just trying to attract attention.
on a side note, i hate people who discretely attract attention. plus most of these people think that they're a notch above the rest. let me tell you one thing, its clearly obvious what you're trying to do. acting cool, while hoping to get all the attention in the world. people are not stupid. don't think you're smarter than them, please.

on the day of the chem block test, i was in my friend's car frantically reading through my notes, while my friend sat by my side engaging in casual talk with her mum, taking an occasional glance out the window. so i decided to ask her if she has finished studying, and she simply replied with a "there's no use doing last minute work(studying)". but i beg to differ. unless of course you haven't started studying at all and have totally no idea what nucleophilic substitution is. i mean if you have barely studied, then of course trying to fit everything into your puny little brain within half an hour is impossibly impossible. but then again, if you're done studying, i think some last minute reading will probably help right? random, but i was just dying to say it haha.
let X represent a very... intriguing person. so yes, on with my story. one fine day, i turn to X, only to end up seeing him digging his gold canal for a seemingly endless supply of gold. of course, there are 2 gold canals, but i really don't know why both canals never never ever seem to deplete. seriously, i don't see how it is humanely possible to require excavation of BOTH canals at least 5 times per period(50 mins). that averages to at least once per 10 mins. hahaha for heaven's sake we're not blind! just because you're doing it discretely doesn't mean nobody's gonna notice. it may be necessary and pleasurable at times, but please, do it somewhere nobody can see you okay? that packaged expression on your face is just... just... SO DAMN FREAKING SICK!
okay enough of stories. its a (oneday)long(er) weekend, but as usual i won't have much time to study. oh man chem SPA is on tue, and i've got math test and physics SPA the following mon and tue. plus i have every subject's tutorial to do.. the result of slacking for the whole week. school is the killer. hahaha. so many things to do, so little time. really.
i've somehow gotten into the chocolate/icecream/snack fetish. omg must be school. when you can't find anything else to blame, just blame it on school.
oh and my baby was happy happy today! :)

the lanshop qualifiers of the electronic sports world cup (ESWC) lanshop qualifiers was on today at asteroids. gahhh had to wake up at 10 only to find out that our first opponent decided to let us walkover them. i could have slept a great deal more okay damn them!! hahah.. so we won both the first match against rtl 16-4, and the 2nd match against titans which was hella intense. 16-13. close enough. 2 very great games, albeit the not very convicing finals score. the next 2 months are probably gonna be filled with training so i won't get to meet my baby often, boo! oh well, on a happier note, at least we're in the semi's of the ESWC qualifiers already. which means that i'm this much closer *pinches thumb and index together* to flying to france. I WANNA WANNA WANNNNNNNNNNNNA GO FRANCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
hmmm.. the week passed so fast i can't even recall what i did. for one, i donated blood for the first time haha. and ermmm.. i didn't do any school work the whole weekend.. quite screwed oh well. gotta go do my beloved homework bb.

initially i planned to not blog about the block tests at all.. but i just have to coz physics is teh sux! omgomgomgomg i got 54.2% and i only needed 1/2 a mark to getting a C. and guess what? those who got D E and O have to stay back on friday for an extra lesson designed to "stretch" students. like hell it will. bahhhh now i don't have any more short fridays.. flibijibet!
block tests actually turned out to be quite good.. hahah. and i'm proud to say that i STUDIED 7 days for them okay. so yes my results are the outcome of my studying.. not like some others who claim to have "not studied" but still ended up with A's anyway like i dunno how in the world that is actually possible. cmon man, everyone knows that you can't pass an A level standard paper without studying for it even if you're a demi-god..
i finally got myself to read a book after 17 years, 7 months and 25 days. i've always disliked reading coz firstly i read too slow, and secondly the books i read were probably just oh-so-boring. i'm reading da vinci code and i finally finally understand the euphoria that comes with reading. hahahh took me long enough. wheeness

Your IQ score is 113. This means that you are smarter than 81.0% of all other Super IQ test takers.
This number is the result of a scientifically-tested formula based on how many questions you answered correctly on the Tickle Super IQ Test.
But there's more to intelligence than a single number, a single score, or a single label. Tickle uses 8 distinguishable dimensions of intelligence in the Super IQ Test. By analyzing your individual scores on those 8 scales, we are able to look beyond the raw IQ score into how you process information, and which intellectual strengths you're best at.
Your test results indicate that the way you process information makes you a Conceptual Synthesizer.
You are very skilled at divining the real truth in any situation. You can easily read between the lines and understand exactly what's going on. When learning something new, you easily grasp the underlying concept. You absorb the basic content, filter out the unimportant information, and then focus on what really matters. You never get distracted by tangential points or irrelevant facts.
This acute focus makes you very adept at filtering out the 'noise'. Most people are not capable in this way — they focus on the specific words or numbers being used and can get bogged down. Your mind is less likely to pick up particular vocabulary words or remember mathematical equations, but you understand the essential gist of any situation.
Here's an example of your Conceptual Synthesizer thinking skills at work in a real-life situation:
You are out with a group of people who are talking about a book that you've not read. They are exploring details about the plot, and discussing the elegance of the writing. What you hear loud and clear are the main themes of the story (the romance, the influence of the grandfather, and the predominance of food). At the end of the discussion you tell them you can guess how the book ends, and it turns out, you are right! This is because you were able to pick up on the most important information from their talk as well as glean the general mood of the book and these insights led you to your conclusion. Thank goodness you think the way you do!
Your scored 97 out of 100. Logical ability is what you use when determining whether or not something makes sense. You rely on logic when analyzing an argument, step-by-step. This ability also contributes to your aptitude for recognizing underlying patterns.
interesting iq test, although 113 sounds extremely low. hahaha but the analysis is even more interesting. quite true (i think). but the real-life situation is kinda too specific huh.. oh and anyway here's the test, enjoy.

gotham sucked. didn't even dare to try going in coz i didn't borrow an id beforehand. the bouncer was just being a bitch la. he had this i-am-the-bouncer-so-i-can-do-anything-i-like-like-calling-the-police-and-you-can't-do-anything-about-it-okayyougetwhatimean smirk all over his damn face. he even copied down the numbers of all the ids used before like what? and abel got brought back, couldn't even do anything to help him, crap.
block tests are here and i'm studying like i've never studied before. they should actually call it an exam coz a test just doesn't sound like something you need to study very hard for.. hahah. and besides, tests don't usually include half a year or one whole year's syllabus.
the future sounds nice,
coz you're by my side.

our lives, no matter how insignificant, is still worth more than any lousy academic grade, any relationship-turned-sour, or any irreversible family trouble. failing the A-levels doesn't mean the end. If your girlfriend dumped you for a better, hotter, cuter looking guy, it doesn't mean the end. If your parents are going to file a divorce tomorrow, it doesn't mean the end. everything can be solved, and even if it cannot be solved, it won't stay forever. my point is, no matter how bad and depressing a situation is, it is never the end.
our lives are not independent of others. how would they feel if they were to lose someone dear to them? how would YOU feel? ending your life doesn't solve the problem. it merely aggravates the problem and passes it on to those around you.
i may not have known him, but it still sucks just to think of what happened. "half the world is starving, while the other half is dieting". there are people who are barely living, and here you are deciding whether or not you should live. nothing is worth more than your life. so treasure it.
